BioI was born, in 1772, the youngest of ten children of a man of God, in whose footsteps I sought acceptance as I began the greatest of my life's fulsome challenges: to give the word to the voice of God; to reconcile humanity, philosophy, chemistry, logic, love, and the divine; and to be a good man of Christ in faith.
I have had some success in letters and theology, others finding my poetry worthy of publishing and still others coming to share in the benefits of any small wisdom I might possess. I married young, fathered three young children, and although in fatal love with a woman--oh! god--not my wife stayed married.
My gout tonight is fierce. I shall not keep you from the pleasures of your company but shall revisit, if I am welcome, to provide the continuation of the story you have so kindly requested of me.
